supported by the members of The Warwickshire Golf Club in 2008. And we have also been chosen by the Warwickshire Golf Club Mens Section as one of their charities for 2009 |

A simple
"thank you" seems a rather meagre response to the incredible
generosity of The Warwickshire Golf Club members over the year.
Athough we receive welcome support from Warwickshire County Council for the hire of the club room, we have to generate around 90% of our funding ourselves. What this amazing donation means is that -- as well as replacing or upgrading essential pieces of equipment such as the pool and table tennis tables -- we can now plan, with some certainty, the financial wellbeing of the club for several years to come. Everyone at Kenilworth Helping Hands Club would like to offer our heartfelt thanks to the Ladies Captain, the Men's Captain, the committee and members of The Warwickshire for their fantastic donation. Thank you. |

| The Warwickshire Barbecue July 2008 | |||

| In July 2008, club members, carers and supporters were guest of The Warwickshire Golf Club at an evening barbecue. As can be seen from the glowering grey clouds on the photos, our summer weather regretfully precluded an outside barbecue. However, the weather was eventually temperate enough to allow some of us to eat outdoors and enjoy the delightful golf club surroundings (and pose for pictures, a favourite members activity). It was commented that had sausage & chips been one of the Bejing Olympic events, our club members could well have been up for gold. A lovely evening, and once again a big thank you to everyone involved in the organisation. | |||
