Home Contact Us
Kenilworth Helping Hands Club was established in 1978 and - with the exception of the Club Leader - is run entirely by volunteers made up of friends and family of the club members, sixth-formers, college & university students and public-spirited members of the community.
We are based in Kenilworth, but our club members come from all around Kenilworth and surrounding areas. They have a range of learning difficulties, from moderate (allowing them to live with a degree of independence) to severe (which requires 24 hour care & support). Some are also physically handicapped.

What they all have is a great sense of fun and they take their enjoyment very seriously… anyone who has attended one of our Fancy Dress events, Karaoke Nights or Talent Shows will readily testify.

The club offers members and their carers a break from routine and a chance to socialise and take part in individual or group activities in a relaxed and informal atmosphere. As well as the usual club nights – and when funds allow - we also run excursions, theatre trips, 10 pin bowling outings and an annual caravan weekend by the sea.
The club is based at Thorns Community Infant School in Blackthorn Road, Kenilworth and Club Night is on Fridays from 7.00pm during normal term time. For more information about our Club Nights and other activities contact us using our Contact Form
